Not every wind pung scores — only your own seat wind (and the current prevailing wind) count. East seat punging South Winds gets zero. The case worth knowing is the double wind: in the East round, sitting East, a pung of East Winds counts Seat Wind plus Prevailing Wind — 1 + 1 = 2 faan.
