What it is
Voided Suit rewards a hand built from just two suits: your tiles use two of the three suits (honours allowed), with the third suit completely missing. It counts 2 faan here — but note that some tables don’t score this pattern at all, so agree before the game.
How to form it
It’s usually not chased deliberately — it emerges: when one suit is scarce in your hand, clear it out early and the pattern forms itself. It’s also the natural halfway house to a Half Flush: void one suit, then clear the second, and you’re there.

Common scoring mistake
A Half Flush already voids two suits — Voided Suit is not added on top of it; the two don’t stack. Voided Suit exists precisely for the two-suits-plus-honours hands that fall short of a flush.
Combines with
Voided Suit pairs well with All Chows or All Pungs: a two-suit All Chows hand with a voided suit is 1 + 2 = 3 faan — exactly clearing a 3-faan minimum.
